I like your layout and with your permission would like to use it as the basis of my layout of Goschenen, St. Gotthard Line, as the visible track is very close to prototype. I intend to operate: loco + 5/6 carriage Int'l Expresses; loco + 4 carriage Local trains; and various freight trains and vehicle and truck 'shuttle'. Given the maximum train length of ~ 1metre, do you think I could shorten the layout to 9' and increase the width to 2'6"? Which s/ware did you use?

Thanks and regards,
Marco

Mine's in the "someday" category at the moment. I just don't have the time to make it happen, currently. So, I sit and read Model Railroader, peruse the net, and dream.

What'll likely happen is a small switching layout at some point. I found some great sites with ideas for them.

Hey, weren't you going to build your own layout?

Now I need to tidy things up (like pack away the tools and surplus rolling stock rather than pile it all up at the other end of the layout) so I can take some photos of the whole layout.

More! More! I want everything, Tim! :)

You do realize I'm living vicariously through your model railroading, yes? If not, consider yourself informed. :)
