Derek's the wunderkind from the Allman Brothers, and his solo band is outstanding. They do blues, jazz, funk and it's all totally out there. Derek (all of 23 or so) could run circles around any guitar god out there. You can stream his shows on Archive.org... worth checking out. No one has played slide guitar like he does since Duane Allman died. Just got in from a show that I think you’d love:
