Excellent review, I unfortunately missed this tour as it caught me by surprise... I unfortunately blinked and missed it, despite being on Marillion's email update list. I await the DVD now that I know there's going to be one.

Just found this site, very good indeed btw, found it by searching for Marillion, as I'm in a Marillion state of mind after watching Marbles DVD last night.

I was at the gig in Glasgow and it was also immense if not a little short on crowd numbers. Big Fish was in the audience as well. The band are on top form. I don't think any gig will top the Sunday night show at this years Marillion weekend but it sounds like the Forum came close.

Don't you mean "Somewhere Else" :)

I wish I'd made the effort to get to more than one gig of the tour; Liverpool clashed with another gig, but I could have made it to Leeds.

On The Opium Den (the Marillion yahoogroup), this tour's been getting rave reviews from many people who were decidedly lukewarm on the album.

Sounds excellent! Following 'Arriving Somewhere', I decided to give this tour a miss, so the largely-non-'Arriving Somewhere' (and frequently changing) setlists were a surprise.

Hindsight's great, but now I wish I'd travelled down to Liverpool....
