publish and be dammed. oh sorry,. you don’t like anyone to criticise them you have the power of edit./delete here

What the f*** are you talking about? Comments on this blog are only moderated to stop robo-spammers, or when someone posts something abusive or libellous.

It is patently obvious to me that you're a partisan stoat-eyed acolyte of Fish and take his version of events which have been expounded in tedious detail on his blog as gospel.

Contrary to popular belief I have not heard her version of events, and have no intention of asking her. I don't want to go round reopening old wounds.

I remain a huge fan of Fish's music, but this doesn't mean I'm going to swallow his bullshit when it relates to people I know personally.

The one sour note of the gig was that Fish insisted on telling that story about the Fairies. If Fish really wants to be known as the great lyricist and frontman he undoubtedly is rather than a bitter knobhead who can’t stop washing dirty linen and reopening old wounds in public, he really needs to drop that one. Yes I know what and who ‘Dark Star’ is about, and I don’t want to be reminded of it. There will be trouble if he tells it in York on Sunday, I tell you.

two sides to ever story... and it seems that given what transpired in summer of 2008 that he was quite justified..

its only you WHO IS TAKING IT PERSONALLY...

Tim.. allegiamce to your friends in MA etc is one thing. blind allegiance is hypocritical flying in the face of the truth is another..

Hi Tim. I caught Marillion at their Bournemouth show.....very good it was too & for the record Steve Rothery is also my fave player ever. Every time I see him live, he never fails to put on a stellar performance & oh the feel, soul & emotion he gets from that Blade Stratocaster - brilliant. I must admit, I had a few reservations with HITR, but every time I play it (both discs), I hear something else & played live, the tracks featured from HITR worked superbly! Next Marillion outing for me is the Convention Weekend in Holland next year - apparently they are playing Season's End in it's entirity on the Fri night - I suspect as a celebration for Steve Hogarth's 20th year in the band/1st album with Marillion. Can't wait.
BTW, I had to flip a coin as to whether to go to see Marillion, or Fish/The Reasoning in Frome.......a very hard choice!!!!

Sounds like you've had a good few weeks! Have you seen that the Word magazine had a positive prog (and related bands) article in their issue this month? Interviews with Marillion and Fish and some others of interest.
