Now Playing: Pink Floyd’s Endless River. There may be a full review along later, but for now I’ll say that the late Richard Wright was to Pink Floyd what Malcolm Young was to AC/DC. Unassuming and understated, but absolutely central to their sound.

  1. This will be added to my collection at some point. I found good things to say about both pre- and post-Waters Floyd (if not always every track from same).

    I would add that the reason “The Final Cut” sounds more like a Roger Waters solo record than a Pink Floyd one to me is that Richard Wright is missing from it.
