Bye-Bye Manchester

Yes, after two years I'm leaving Manchester and returning south. I moved north for what was initially a three month contract for SX3, which got extended and eventually lasted more than 18 months. Sadly the downturn in the IT market in the past year had meant contract work in the north-west has just about dried up, so I'm going to try my luck elsewhere.

I handed in the notice for my flat in Sale this morning, and for the next few months I'm going to be staying with my parents in sunny Slough.
