Descriptions of Venus Blood Crew Player Characters

PLAYER: The War Dog

Leighton Needham is a human of medium height and handsome, with blonde hair and grey eyes. His movements are poised, and his dress is (usually) neat. His expression is predatory and calculating, and his face battered and scarred by a rather rough lifestyle.

He's normally seen in either a vacc suit or a (snug-fitted) ship coverall, and almost never without either a viblade or metal blade visibly to hand. He gives the impression of not quite trusting you.

PLAYER: Skorpyon

Dr. Andrew Waite is a human of average build, brown and brown, with far more 'worry lines' than 'laugh lines'. On the ship his clothing tends toward 'comfortable': loose pants and shirts, open collars, sandals, and so forth. He's 51, and fairly fit for a middle-aged man.

PLAYER: AJ Richardson

Christopher 'Chip' Roberts is human, fairly tall and of average proportion. His reddish-brown hair is long enough to run fingers through, his skin tone tends to a slight tan. His eyes are green, his clothes are usually fairly sturdy overalls with space for a handheld-size toolkit. or three. Usually carries around Jason, a JCN interface unit, basically a multifunction box of tricks with a dozen adaptive ports, several means of data input and output and a quirky AI.

PLAYER: MikeD

Just under 5' and weighing in at a bit over 75 pounds, Dak is not big. Nor is he particularly 'striking' as Arrhan go. Ebony dark haircut on the short almost 'crew cut' style. Penetrating eye almost as dark as his hair are set in a roundish face. But the face is lean and the cheek bones stand out as does his long thin nose, seeming almost to split his face into two halves. His skin hue tends to red-orange darker red on the face where sun strikes it lighter, tending toward orange where clothing normally blocks the light. He tends to dark clothing, black more often than not. Loose fitting, disguising his body somewhat, but more improtantly, offering freedom of movement.

PLAYER: Nicki Jett

Tamlyn Surcease, more familiarly known by the sobriquet "Lizard", is a 27 year-old human female modified for deepspace tech service by the now-disbanded and outlawed Guild. Her racial background is typically hybridized, with Polynesian, Negro, and Caucasian features smoothly intermingled. She is exotically pretty, willow-slim and of average height (5'5"), with a lot of lean muscle and no spare flesh in evidence. Small-breasted with dusky-hued skin, Tamlyn has a narrow fox face, generous mouth, emerald green slightly-tilted eyes, and thick, glossy black hair cropped in a boy-short razor cut.

Lizard's normal attire *shipboard* consists of cuffed khaki service shorts, which contain an integral tool belt usually loaded down with an assortment of exotic multitools. She has a matching service vest with it's many useful pockets. Lizard wears a polychromatic assortment of starstone studs and ear cuffs in each ear, and her virtually invisible comm-link. She sports a small tattoo of a Thorian glitter-lizard on her left breast, and another smaller version of that same riotously colorful creature on the outside of her right ankle. Her current attire is clean black baggies, a black tank and a couple of gold armbands. She has gone back to her natural skintone, dusky and warm. Her hair is currently its original black, now glossy and shoulder length with bangs and a flip under at the ends, almost Egyptian-looking in effect.

This, of course, does not reflect the somewhat daunting array of bionetic modifications which she possesses.

PLAYER: Talisar

The 30 year old new captain of the Venus Blood, Peter Ettell, is a two meter tall tanned Caucasian male weighing in around 100 kg. He has a black crew cut with widow's peak which accents his wide angular face and chiselled chin. His eyes are a a smokey green-grey, and he has a scar, turned white with age, which runs from the edge of his left eye down to his chin, running along the jaw. Several scars from whip marks and slug wounds crisscross his torso, "reminders" of several mistakes he's made during his career with the Venus Blood.

He is usually attired in a multi-pocket vest, light short-sleeve shirt, utility pants, and boots. He is always armed with two vibro knives, one strapped to each forearm.

PLAYER: Karen Daniels

"Girl Next Door" is the first thing most men think when they meet Tabatha. At 5'8", she carries her 127 pounds easily in a fit, nicely curved package. Her waist-length dark brown hair is usually braided, or at least pulled back in a pony-tail or twist. Emerald-green eyes gaze frankly at the world, from a peaches-and-cream complexion.

Typically, she wears black unitards with a colored bit of fabric tied somewhere for decoration. She wears low-heeled boots for duty, and usually goes bare-foot while off duty. When she wants to dress things up a bit, she's got one pair of high spike heels that make her legs look like a million bucks.

She also always has her escrema sticks on her person. She paid top credit for the weapons: each of the twin carbon fiber shafts comes as a pair of 16" shafts that can be snapped together in a fraction of a second. Normally they're strapped to the backs her thighs in custom-made sheaths. They're not exactly _concealed_, but a casual glance probably won't spot them, especially if she's wearing a skirt over her body-suit.
