This is a site devoted to some of my diverse interests, from RPGs to trains to 1970s dinosaur rock bands. It started off as a means of teaching myself HTML, but then sort of growed, much like any computer project is likely to do.

There are many things on this site; here are some of them

• My regularly-updated Blog. Check this often, because I will announce any new pages there.
• Kalyr, a fantastic world of intrigue, mystery and conflict, full of mystic powers of the mind, arcane technology, alien races and feuding guilds.
• Arrhan Empire Frontiers, a space piracy message game run on the Dreamlyrics message boards. Follow the adventures of the not-so-good ship Venus Blood, and her merry crew of cutthroats and brigands!
• Guidelines for converting RPG characters from GURPS to Fudge
• Find out what happened to CompuServe's RPGAMES forum, and where everybody went.
• A whole lot of railway photographs, featuring Lostwithiel and Par in Cornwall, and the Bern Lötchberg Simplon in Switzerland.

• Some alternate histories with a difference! Instead of grand themes, such as what might have happened had William the Conquerer lost in 1066, or what if the Alien Space Bats had helped the Nazis win World War II, or even what if Gordon Banks hadn't had a hangover in 1970, here we have some answers to the ultimate question: What would the trainspotters see?
• All you ever wanted to know about wagonload freight trains in Cornwall between 1986 and 1991
• A page on my current N-gauge project, "Wominsee". Just a track plan at present, I will add some photos as construction progresses
